Webinar – Creating a Colorful Native World Inside an HOA

“Creating a Colorful Native World Inside an HOA” was originally broadcast live on March 26, 2025. View the recording above.

Saumya’s presentation focuses on methods to improve the soil biome around new construction, help modify designs for mobility-restricted individuals and harness native plant seasonality to meet homeowner’s association (HOA) landscaping demands. Come hear her journey and how she has worked together with her HOA board!

Saumya Sivaram Vanderwyst is a biomedical engineer and amateur native plant lover. She has used both her training and passion to better understand the demands of using native plants within the confines of an HOA. She has successfully presented landscape plans to her HOA three times, has been on the Architecture Review Board, and is currently on the HOA board.
