This field trip, originally scheduled for April 18, will be postponed until further notice.
The 8-acre nursery specializes in Florida native plants and wildflowers, with a focus on upland plant species. In addition to selling native plants, Green Isle offers landscape design and maintenance services for both residences and businesses.
We will tour the nursery’s greenhouses and learn how it produces 150 species of plants without pesticides. Owner Marc Godts also will do a short demonstration on growing plants from seed. After our program, you’ll be free to shop. Bring your must-have list, and be sure to take advantage of the expert advice of Marc and his staff, who can help you plan your native wildflower and plant habitat.
This is a Florida Wildflower Foundation members-only event. Membership starts at $15 a year. Become a member here.
NOTE: The deadline for reserving tickets is 11 p.m. on April 12.
