I Pledge:

  • To use Florida's native wildflowers and plants in my landscape whenever possible,
  • To use little or no irrigation once my plants are established,
  • To ban the use of fertilizer, pesticides and herbicides in my yard,
  • To be conscious of wildflower and native plant life cycles and recognize that my plants might not look their best all the time,
  • To garden for beneficial insects, especially for the pollinators that provide every third bite of food we eat,
  • To enjoy, appreciate and co-exist with the birds, reptiles and small mammals my native plants bring to my landscape,
  • And to talk with my family, friends and neighbors about using Florida's natives and where to purchase them.
